2024 Estate Chardonnay: Sourced exclusively from the Estate Vineyard surrounding our Château, this rare Chardonnay captures the elegance of classic Carneros at its finest. Lively aromas of lemon curd, vanilla bean, almond, and fresh sliced green apple lead to underlying tropical notes and stone fruit on the palate, supported by a touch of seamlessly integrated oak, finishing long on a lifting acidity.
2023 La Rocaille Chardonnay: “La Rocaille” vineyard was acquired by Domaine Carneros in 1992, just a few years after the Chateau was constructed and it is only 30 acres, our smallest vineyard, planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Delicate aromas of honeysuckle and stone fruit energized by acidity and followed on the palate with lemon pith, river rock, and a hint of salty ocean breeze. At only 225 cases this release is small, just like the vineyard, but offers the highest expression of our Carneros terroir in a new format.
2023 Estate Pinot Noir: This wine begins packs a range of delicious fruit and savory flavors. Beginning with the nose one encounters subtle red fruits, coastal fern, and tobacco leaf. The palate delivers vibrant red fruits including cranberry and raspberry intertwined with silky creamy texture, followed by notes of spice and forest floor on the warming finish. 10 months of barrel age lends a sweetness that balances the supple tannin from this exceptional vintage producing an intense full bodied Pinot Noir. The hallmark of Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir is the texture and this wine, as noted above, delivers with a supple, rich mouthfeel, and warming finish.
