Rosé wines are often believed to be made only from Pinot Noir, but the best, including ours, have Chardonnay added for structure. In creating our Rosé we worked to create a wine of great balance while emphasizing fruity and floral characteristics to a greater extent than in our Brut or Le Rêve.

We call it “Le Ciel Serein” and it just might be the most picturesque ranch in Carneros. This site was selected for its rolling hills, diverse exposure, and exceptional soils. This edition offers notes of ripe plum, wild berries, delicate cigar spice, and carob nibs.

Le Rêve is a highly respected tête de cuvée - our winery’s finest Sparkling wine and frequently named America’s Best Sparkling. French for “the dream,” Le Rêve is crafted from 100% estate-grown Chardonnay, making it a pure expression of Domaine Carneros. 

The "Famous Gate" pays homage to our deep commitment to Pinot Noir. For the past 25 years, we've carefully cultivated 12 separate clonal selections in a wide variety of soils, providing a complex range of Pinot Noir expressions. Our 300 acres of Estate vineyards, passion for Pinot Noir, and dedication to artisan winemaking methods make The Famous Gate a wine worth seeking.

Before a sparkling wine earns the right to feature its vintage on the label, it must be aged in the bottle for three years. Our Late Disgorged Brut goes well beyond that strict requirement with a total of six years aging sur lie en bouteille - on the lees, in the bottle. The result is an enhanced, enriched edition of our acclaimed Domaine Carneros Brut Cuvée.

Each year we put the spotlight on one of the 12 different Pinot Noir clones grown at Domaine Carneros by bottling it separately. We first bottled the Dijon 777 in 2010, and this is only the third time that we have featured it. 

Late Disgorged Le Rêve is a testament to patience. Aged nearly ten years sur lies en bouteille (on the lees, in the bottle), the limited-production bottling is an opulently layered masterpiece born of the crème de la crème of our broader Sparkling wine portfolio.

We grow eleven different clones of Pinot Noir and each one contributes its unique flavor profile and personality to make this compelling blend which is truly a mosaic of our Carneros terroir. The 2016 edition of our Estate Pinot Noir packs a full range of red and darker berry flavors.
