We partnered with esteemed chocolatier Louis Sherry to create rich dark chocolate truffles infused with our Estate Brut Cuvée. Two luscious chocolates in a signature blue keepsake tin are paired with a bottle of our 2015 Domaine Carneros Estate Brut Cuvée.
Louis Sherry introduced the French chocolate-making tradition to New York in 1881 and like Domaine Carneros, is dedicated to using only the highest quality ingredients and techniques in crafting its chocolate truffles. A collaboration between these two brands seemed only natural. The result, packed in this classic Louis Sherry tin, is a rich dark chocolate truffle infused with Domaine Carneros Estate Brut Cuvée Sparkling Wine.
Our Estate Brut is a small cuvée comprised only of grapes grown in our own vineyards. The wine was aged a minimum of three years in our cellar. We love this wine now, but know it has exceptional further aging potential. Richness and complexity begin on the nose, with bounding aromas of green apple, crème brûlée, and orange blossom. The palate is dense and full, revealing juicy pear, honey dew melon and lemon zest, with a savory underpinning that melds into the long finish.
