2019 Ultra Brut: Our driest sparkling wine, Ultra Brut's low dosage highlighting the structure and minerality that appeals to the true aficionado. Hailing from the stellar 2019 vintage, this latest expression includes intriguing aromas of lime zest, honeydew melon, and white cherry.
2019 Estate Brut Cuvée: The newest release of our Estate Brut Cuvée features notes of poached pear, crisp apple, yuzu, honeydew melon, and pie crust with a toasty finish that lingers on the palate, begging for another sip. This winery exclusive has been aged to perfection yet will enjoy additional evolution in the cellar over the next decade.
2020 Brut Rosé: A favorite among our enthusiasts, this wine expresses great balance while emphasizing fruity and floral characteristics. Rosé wines are often believed to be made only from Pinot Noir, but the best, including ours, have Chardonnay added for structure. The latest vintage of our beloved Brut Rosé entices with luscious notes of rose petal, honeysuckle, and grilled peaches.
2022 La Rocaille Chardonnay: “La Rocaille” vineyard is located on the eastern side of the Carneros appellation and it is our smallest vineyard at only 30 acres. The site has proven to be a winner with the grapes forming a consistent foundation to our two flagship wines, Le Rêve, and Famous Gate. This release offers the highest expression of our Carneros terroir in a new format, with delicate aromas of honeysuckle, pear, and a touch of seamlessly integrated oak.
2021 Avant-Garde Pinot Noir: It was created to be the vanguard of the vintage, heralding the distinctive bright berry qualities of the Carneros Region. The fruit for this wine is sourced from all six Domaine Carneros vineyards in the rolling hills of Carneros. The wine is fermented in small open-topped tanks and then aged for 8 months in Burgundian French oak barrels from cooperages that are specially selected to complement the aroma and flavor profile of this wine.
2021 Estate Pinot Noir: This wine begins packs a range of delicious fruit and savory flavors. Beginning with the nose one encounters subtle red fruits, coastal fern, and tobacco leaf. The palate delivers vibrant red fruits including cranberry and raspberry intertwined with silky creamy texture, followed by notes of spice and forest floor on the warming finish. 10 months of barrel age lends a sweetness that balances the supple tannin from this exceptional vintage producing an intense full bodied Pinot Noir. The hallmark of Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir is the texture and this wine, as noted above, delivers with a supple, rich mouthfeel, and warming finish.
