It evokes lively fruit flavors and moves with crispness across the palate. One finds Wild Maine strawberry, dried sage, and watermelon. This wine evokes images of poolside, beachside, or backyard sipping.
We believe that when you close your eyes a rosé should taste and feel like a white wine. It should evoke bright flavors and move with crispness on the palate. The delicate nose offers orange blossom, nectarine, and Herbs de Provence. On the palate, one finds Wild Maine strawberry, wet stone, dried sage and watermelon. This wine evokes images of poolside, beachside, or backyard sipping.
As we take a moment to look back on the harvest and try to put it into perspective, a couple of things come into focus. The generous rains in two out of the last three years have flushed the roots, saturated the soils and reinvigorated the vines. Cane lignification was an early indication of superb ripeness and the overall quality of this memorable and exceptional vintage.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine can be enjoyed on its own, but also pairs beautifully with any brunch food as well as salad. Niçoise, Caprese, and even a lightly dressed salad featuring cantaloupe melon or fresh strawberries will really bring out the character in the wine.
